Using a Meta-Course

Some MLC courses have several sections of the same course. These can be combined into a single course, called a meta-course. TheUsing samea meta-course caneliminates bethe re-usedneed for posting/creating content in subsequentmultiple semesterslocations orfor amultiple new site can be created.sections.

Instructions

1. Activate each course section via the MLC Portal. 
2. If you are using a meta-course for the first time or want a new meta-course created, contactEmail Rachel Feld. with the course number(s) and section numbers that you'd like included in the meta course. 
3. IfThat's youit want to reuse an existing meta-course, please see these directions.:) 

• The individual sections will still appear on your dashboard, but you can safely ignore them. Do all updating, grading, etc. in the meta-course.
